What You Must Do
Our ability to assist you avoiding foreclosure requires you to be in the right mindset and be realistic.
The fact is, you're in serious trouble and you're not getting out of it on your own.
Our foreclosure department was created specifically to rescue people in situations just like yours, but you have to help us help you. Most people who lose their property in foreclosure lose it because they are in denial or have unrealistic expectations, burning up vital time where solutions that could have been put into play to save the property are no longer possible.
People in denial and who are not living in reality often think;
1 - I’ll win the lottery
2 - My Family will help me and make up all of my back payments
3 - My Church will help me and make up all of my back payments
We hear this one all the time, but it is incredibly rare that ANY Church will step in and make more than 1 payment. Even then, only in select circumstances.
4 - I’ll negotiate a deal with my Lender to keep the Home.
The reality is, if you’re delinquent on your Mortgage there is little if any hope that your Lender is willing to negotiate ANYTHING with you - you need a 3rd, credible party like us to intervene and/or negotiate with your Lender.
5 - Recognize that you will likely have to give up this house in order to save your credit and yourself.
Many people we encounter absolutely refuse to consider ANY solution that requires them to face the fact that they have to move out of the property. They simply cannot emotionally un-attach themselves from the property. The fact is, most people are losing the property either way. What changes in the manner in which it is released. We're here to cut your losses and protect your future!
If you are in the above mindset, we cannot HELP you.
If you owe more than your property is worth, we CANNOT help you.
That said, some of our solutions allow you to keep the property/stay in the property, some will require you to vacate the property/move. The important thing is accepting the reality of the situation. Protecting your credit and avoiding foreclosure is a more important decision to make than the decision to remain in or move out of the property.
